I don't think I will ever go back and visit Jimmy John's after my first time visiting. They have a very limited food menu that they serve, unlike many other subs/sandwiches shop or restaurants and even worse Jimmy John's does not serve any hot foods nor toast the sandwiches upon the request as they don't have the equipment to do so. They only serve very and very cold sandwiches with limited indigents that you can pick. If you think Jimmy John's is another sub or sandwiches shop that serve the likes of Subway, Firehouse Sub or whatnot then you will be mistaken as they don't even come close to compete them.
Employees on the phone were very nice about and very aware of this limitation, hopefully management will adapt accordingly.
Great sandwiches, fixed fast. Cold cuts only, don't expect hit sandwiches. Their brand of chips is pretty bad.
The bread that they serve for sandwiches are very tough and the rubber-feeling-when-you-bite-them. I highly recommend that you don't visit this if you are in mood for some subs, go to other places like Subway or better yet Penn Station East Coast Subs.
Great service, hot employee's, best 8in I ever had
Their delivery range is incredibly small, coming in at a 3 mile radius. Basically, they won't drive past the high school. This defeats the overall purpose of Jimmy John's, which is to churn out and deliver halfway decent sandwiches quickly. If I have to drive over, why would I go to Jimmy John's when Penn Station is right there? Delivery is the one edge they have, but they basically don't do it. Hopefully management figures it out, especially since the delivery limitation completely ignores the campus community, which every Jimmy John's since its inception has lived off of (even the Jimmy John's headquarters in Champaign, IL is adjacent to University of Illinois's main campus). You won't succeed if you deviate from the business model, guys.
I wasn't real crazy about the food(I'm not a big sub guy). but it was made extremely professional! food was good but not great. but I swear. the restrooms made up for anything bad! lol, I sat there reading all the signs they had painted on the walls, it was soooo worth it! the tp also was awesome! very soft felt like some kind of expensive stuff. all in all id recommend it to anyone only if they go to the restrooms. I loved it!
