We love there animals selection and the owners are so nice! I don't know why people say so many harsh things about this place and the workers bc I wouldn't want to buy any other animal from any where else but there! They're willing to help with whatever you need and all the animals have been really good and also healthy since we got them at mikes kritter kastle!!
I bought a miniature Pom, 2 baby frogs, 2 hamsters, 1 slider turtle, 1 Guinea pig and also in the past 2 bunnies, I'm also going back to get a different dog that I seen there!
oh, and don't even get me started on those poor puppies in the back.

please do not give any of your business to this horrible pet store; you will only be supporting cruelty and neglect.. most, if not all of their animals are kept in disgusting conditions and are obviously never handled or given any attention. not to mention, the staff are uneducated on the pets they sell in their own store, and i would go as far as to call them greedy liars. i bought a fancy rat from them a few months ago, a feeder rat actually. i informed them that i had zero knowledge about rats, so they sold me a tiny HAMSTER cage to go with him, and told me that he wouldn't get much bigger. well he is at least 3x the rat he was then. i had to build a bigger cage for him. they also sold me pine bedding to go with his hamster cage, which i later learned causes respiratory infections in rats, and any pet store employee should know this common knowledge; however, this wasn't just an "employee," it was the owner, mike himself! i know it's my bad for not doing my research first, but if these people don't know/care anymore about their animals than this, they don't deserve anyone's business. don't feel like you're doing the animals a favor by saving them, you're just allowing the cruelty to carry on longer. i know they're they only pet store in the area, but please consider a road trip instead of going to mike's critter castle; you'll probably save money traveling elsewhere, as they are also horribly overpriced!
The most disgusting store I have ever been in! Horrible customer service. Smelled like it had never been cleaned, well also looked as if it hadn't been cleaned since they moved in there either. After tripping and gagging my way back to where the dogs were I found all those sweet little puppies in cages that didn't look like they were kept up. I purchased my dog from there. She looked pitiful and hopeless. If I had the money to buy all the animals in there, I would have. Instead I could only afford one unbathed malnutrition puppy. Which was guaranteed to be healthy. When he brought her to me after she was paid for, he then sprayed her down with something to mask the horrible oder from no being properly cared for. My dog also had hookworms so bad that she had a fever, was pooping blood, and vomiting. Of course I took her to the vet and I called to question this store. The owner played dumb, cursed at me and hung up. I don't know how they keep their business going. I feel so sorry for all those helpless animals.
The women that owns it is very nice. I've bought 8 hamsters there and plan to go back for more. I also love going and looking at their varity of cages and supplies.
So before you read the reviews, go there and see for yourself how amazing this place is! Of course it smells and the dogs are caged but they are planning on selling them not keeping them in there forever, and the smell, well what do you expect when this is a pet shop? But I would defiantly rate this a 5 and I'm going to come back in the future! Thank you mikes kritter kastle!!!
