It's not bad but also not nearly as good as it once was. Can I also add that most of the wait staff appears to be on drugs and very unclean?

Ugh. That word word describes perfectly all of my Applebees experiences. Let me put it this way - I have a free meal comped there for all the times my food has been messed up or a disaster and I refuse to use it. Steaks are always overlooked. The meat and food quality has went significantly downhill over the years. Appetizers aren't bad, and beer prices are reasonable but that's their only shining moment. Better off to spend your money elsewhere.
